DIFIE E-LEARNING
We are committed to increasing accessibility to inclusive dance and fitness education in Manitoba and across Canada through our e-learning services. Through-out the year we offer webinars, and e-courses for our members, and non-members with exclusive discounts offered to members. Becoming an inclusive dance and fitness educator requires knowledge in learning, intellectual, and physical disabilities/ or health conditions as well as trauma-informed care. To be an inclusive arts and culture organisation or venue knowledge, one must have knowledge not only in disability accommodation, but in community outreach, urban planning as well. Our educational tools provide practical, affordable, reasonable systems and procedures that you can implement into your operations immediately. We believe only when artists, audiences, administrators, and educators in arts and culture are provided with the necessary tools to create an inclusive industry will we see sustainable change.
DIFIE provides additional in-depth training through our three e-certifications, mentorship to individual members through our in-person D.O.P. (Dance Opportunities for all People) Level 2 Program, and our L.W.L (Levels Without Limits) Program. We also provide organisational consulting to our partnership members.
