We are a not for profit organisation dedicated to providing inclusive dance, fitness, and health education services to Manitoba. Founded 2019 by a professional Board of Directors dedicated to the expansion of inclusive dance and fitness education for Manitoban families. DIFIE does not believe in stereotypes, and is focused on removing barriers to inclusive dance fitness education one person, one program at a time.

Our trademarked DOP program is a curriculum designed to increase accessibility to inclusive dance education to children, youth and adults in Manitoba with varying disabilities and/ or health conditions. Our dance curriculum's provide inter-generational, cross-cultural education via workshops, camps, and classes on a recreation level to members and non-members of DIFIE DANCE.Inc. Dance performance is not apart of the DOP Program. Participants interested in performing must graduate from the DOP program and apply to our LWL program for dance artists with varying abilities. DOP program is instructed by DIFIE's certified DEFYING EDUCATOR'S who are specialists in the field of inclusive fitness education.
Our trademarked FOP program is a curriculum designed to increase accessibility to inclusive fitness and physical literacy education to children, youth and adults in Manitoba. We provide inter-generational, cross-cultural, recreational, fitness education via workshops, camps, and classes. The FOP program is provided to DIFIE members and non-members through partnerships with organisations that serve vulnerable individuals and communities in Manitoba that do not have equitable access to inclusive fitness education. FOP program is instructed by DIFIE's certified DEFYING EDUCATOR'S who are specialists in the field of inclusive fitness education.
Levels without Limits is a our trademarked professional performance arts training program. The curriculum is designed to provide professional ​cross-cultural modern dance education to emerging dance artists with various abilities with varying disabilities and or health conditions. We provide this curriculum through our in-house programming. Graduates of this program go on to perform as LWL Dance Troupe and showcase their abilities across Manitoba, and Canada representing DIFIE's D.O.P Program. LWL Dancers must have participated in our DOP program to apply to the LWL program.

 DEFYING EDUCATOR
(Certification in Inclusive Dance Fitness Education)
DIFIE Dance provides inclusive dance fitness educator training to emerging and professional educators through our in-house apprenticeship program and workshops. DIFIE Educators gain a toolkit of practical integrated methods to provide inclusive, inter-generational, cross-cultural dance fitness education to students of all ages with varying abilities. The curriculum includes a standardized education module for providing dance education to participants at beginner- intermediate difficulty level in a variety of education settings from schools, to daycares, as well as recreation centers and professional dance studios. The curriculum is the first of it's kind to offer a research based, ground-breaking method of teaching participants of all ages with varying disabilities and health conditions. Our curriculum is based on the integrative teaching method to decrease segregation in dance education accessibility through innovative education design.

DIFIE Educators are required to Apprentice with DIFIE with our Master Trainer to co-facilitate classes,as a volunteer. Once the Apprenticeship is complete then the DIFIE Educator will be invited to our online and in-person DEFYING EDUCATOR training where they will receive their certificate of completion. This program is ac accredited program. Certified Educators are able to facilitate a DOP and FOP program as an employee for DIFIE at various locations across Canada.
